Watch Movies At The Beach At This Outdoor Cinema Festival That’s Back After 2 Years
Not your regular movie experience.
What’s better than chilling at the beach? Watching an award-winning movie outdoors on the beach in the glorious sunset with a cocktail in hand, of course. IG-worthy moments? Check. Cool vibes? Check. A semblance of life in pre-pandemic times? Check, check and check.
If that sounds like a great idea to you, you’ll want to mark out your calendars from June 23 to July 10 when Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema is happening on Tanjong Beach.
The popular outdoor cinema festival, which returns after a two-year hiatus, will screen 11 acclaimed films this year, including House of Gucci and A Quiet Place II.
Tickets are $44.80 each and include a Hendrick’s gin and tonic, use of headphones and shuttle buses from the event to Harbourfront MRT. All guests will be required to check in with TraceTogether.
Pro-tip: Gates open at 5pm so make the most of it and go early for some grub and cocktails sold on site and catch sunset views of Tanjong beach. Food stalls run by Tanjong Beach Club will hawk light bites such as paninis, hotdogs, grain bowls and nacho chips.
When it’s movie time (all screenings start at 7.45pm), lounge in the comfy deck chairs to enjoy the movie under the stars. All guests will be supplied a pair of noise-cancelling wireless headphones for a more immersive movie experience (yup, kinda like a silent disco, but at the movies).
