Visit the first minimalist exhibition in Southeast Asia
This minimalism exhibition may be one of the most soothing ones to visit yet. Held at two venues, the National Gallery Singapore and ArtScience Museum, Minimalism: Space. Light. Object. focuses on the movement’s development from the 1950s, leading up to today’s thematic focus on form, colour and spirituality. Expect works of diverse disciplines and forms, by over 70 leading artists that explore ideas of presence and absence, inspired by Asian philosophies such as Zen Buddhism.
