The Macallan M Collection showcase

Lift your spirits and pop into the whisky showcase at ION Orchard’s atrium on Level 1.

Head inside the photo-worthy structure to go on an immersive journey, traverse various experiential zones to learn more about the brand’s whiskies, including the M Collection. A trip to a whisky showcase isn’t complete without a tipple or two — slink over to the onsite bar that’s selling drams of whiskies, including The Macallan M Collection M Decanter, from 4-9pm.

Zalora x Adidas ‘The Supermart’ Pop-Up

This supermart has no groceries. Instead, you’ll find plenty of Adidas and Adidas Originals products (including an exclusive Zalora x Adidas range) here at this faux supermarket.

You’ll be able to shop up a storm here, and the best part? You don’t have to lug your buys around town — browse the store, scan the item’s QR code to cart out on the Zalora app, and have items shipped directly to your home. National Day Light-Up 2022

The Bras Basah precinct’s historical and cultural landmarks are glowing up once more in celebration of Singapore’s 57th birthday. This year, the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Central Fire Station, National Design Centre, National Museum of Singapore, Stamford Arts Centre and The Cathay will be draped in dazzling illuminations of red and white. You've been warned: Get your cameras ready.

Singapore Night Festival

The Singapore Night Festival (SNF) will light up the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct again with a line-up of 55 programmes centred around the theme ‘Rebirth’. A crowd favourite, projection mappings are happening at National Museum of Singapore, National Archives of Singapore, Capitol Theatre, Cathay Picture House, CHIJMES and the Stamford Clock Tower. Need more photo-worthy moments? Some 15 light art installations are peppered around the precinct as well, and the Armenian Street Party makes a return featuring performances by local artists. Festival-goers can also zero in on the Festival Village, where there’ll be F&B, live DJ acts, and game stations galore. Full line-up here.

Candlelight: Best of BTS

See the K-pop kings in a whole new light. This installment of Candlelight concerts features a string quartet performing BTS hits, including ‘Dynamite’, ‘Butter’ and ‘My Universe’, at an ethereal 65-minute performance under the flickering glow of candlelight. Tickets from $35.

Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade Stand pop-up

Happening every Friday and Saturday until Aug 13, this pop-up at Junior the Pocket Bar has a slew of Hendrick’s cocktails that mix in fun and nostalgia — think refreshing slushies and fizzes with a twist. Gin aficionados should zero in on a boozy take on a childhood fave, the Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade, a refreshing concoction of Hendrick’s Gin, lemon juice, sugar and soda water, topped with a garnish of lemon and cucumber, of course.

This series of roving pop-ups is held in conjunction with the launch of ShopBack PayLater, an interest-free installment payment feature on the rewards and shopping platform.

Haw Par Villa’s 10 Courts of Hell and its newly-built Hell’s Museum are about to come alive with festivities commemorating the Hungry Ghost Festival. Project Future

This is one for street culture fans. This too-cool-for-school exhibition will feature unique NFT previews, digital installations, displays of limited edition kicks (including those Heineken sneakers with actual beer in them). The Project Future showcase is a precursor to Culture Cartel, which will make a return on Dec 1-4 this year, after a one-year pandemic-induced hiatus. Admission to Project Future is free.

Under Armour Combine

If you’re fit, fab or just up for a challenge, sign up for the UA Combine competition, taking place in the cool confines of Pasir Panjang Power Station, for a chance to win cash prizes of up to $5,000.
