A Nighttime Outdoor Show & A Light Art Festival Are Returning After 2 Years To Light Up Your Life Again

Things are about to get a little brighter with the return of two events that will light up the night skies around the island. Sustainable light festival i Light Singapore returns from June 3 to 26, while Sentosa’s multi-sensory outdoor show Wings of Time makes a comeback on May 18. Both nighttime events have been on hiatus for the past two years because of — well, what else — the pandemic.

Wings of Time: From May 18
The popular multi-sensory night show on the Sentosa beachfront will make a sparkling comeback on May 18. Touted as the world’s only permanent show set in the open sea, Wings of Time promises bigger and better upgraded pyrotechnic effects to add to its line-up of lasers, lights and 3D effects of the show. From May 18 to June 29, shows take place once a day Mon-Fri at 7.30pm and twice a day on Sat-Sun, eves of public holidays and public holidays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm. i Light Singapore 2022: June 3-26
Three weeks of psychede-lit installations dotted around Marina Bay await you at the sustainable light festival which hasn't seen the light of day for two years. The eighth edition of the fest happens from June 3 to 26 from 7.30pm to 11pm every night (extended hours to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays), and will feature artworks of professional and student artists that aren’t just here to look great on photos — they’re meant to raise awareness on sustainability and inspire visitors to adopt a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
