May 23 to Jun 13: Hear65 Sing Along SG digital karaoke concerts
If the only local song you know by heart is ‘Home’, this might change that. Hear65 Sing Along SG is a month-long digital karaoke concert series, featuring music performances by 16 homegrown artists over four Saturdays, with lyrics provided onscreen so that you can sing along. Actress-host Munah Bagharib hosts, and Tabitha Nauser, THELIONCITYBOY, RRILEY and The Pinholes kick off the series on May 23 at 7.30pm. Each sesh will last about three hours long.
The gig is presented by music media company Bandwagon in partnership with the National Arts Council as part of the #SGCultureAnywhere campaign to provide work opportunities for over 90 self-employed practitioners from the arts community, in a bid to keep Singapore’s music industry going during these trying times that have taken a huge toll on the industry.
