Haven’t used your SingapoRediscovers Vouchers yet? Perhaps you’re still unsure what you want to do with them. But one thing’s for sure, you do want something different, and not the “been there, done that” type of activities like going to the zoo or bird park. Not to worry we’ve got some fun-filled and out-of-the-box ideas courtesy of Love 972 DJs Jian Wen and Lina, and Klook.

Here’s What Jian Wen and Lina’s Singapolidays Look Like

While Jian Wen has led tour groups abroad, he doesn’t join travel tours when he goes on personal holidays. Instead, he prefers to plan everything himself, right down to the meals he’ll be having. But even then, he admits that he is also perfectly happy to throw all his carefully laid plans out once he arrives at the destination, and just “live in the moment”.

Though when it comes to what he wants to do on his Singapoliday, Jian Wen is more than happy to follow someone else’s lead. His biggest wish? To go kayaking. “I enjoy island-hopping around Singapore, but I haven’t had the chance to kayak and explore.”

Besides that, Jian Wen also shares that he is looking forward to visiting places that he’s hardly had time for, like museums, as well as sites that he’s never been to. “I’ve never stepped into Sungei Buloh, so it’s definitely in my top 10 list.”

Like Jian Wen, Lina also likes to plan her holidays, and she’s all about the little details. “I am kiasu so I need to know where things are, like where the nearest hospital or police station to my accommodation is.” And being the consummate foodie, Lina is determined to eat her way through Singapore during her Singapoliday. Besides sightseeing, her ideal itinerary also includes many stops to eat along the way from the Botanic Gardens to Little India and then onwards to Joo Chiat for Peranakan food.

But the one thing she is absolutely looking forward to is finally going up on the Singapore Flyer. “Everyone laughs at me when I tell them this, but I’ve never been up on the Singapore Flyer before. I don’t know how it feels so I would really like to do that this time.”
