May 4th is celebrated around the world as Star Wars Day, but this year Singapore is hosting its very own special event to commemorate the massive franchise. The Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You is a three-day extravaganza held at the Gardens By The Bay's Supertree Grove and it's so cool even non-fans should check it out.
As dusk approaches, the famed Supertrees will turn into giant lightsabers, illuminating the night with all the glory of the Jedi and the Sith. Pretty good idea, and needless to say, it should be a pretty awesome spectacle too.
This is also accompanied by a special Star Wars edition of the Garden Rhapsody light show at Supertrees, set against the iconic music by John William.
