Free Breakfast At Uniqlo’s New Ang Mo Kio Store This Weekend, Free Ice Cream Until Apr 10

Altogether now, “Welcome to Uniqloooo!” Or should we say, welcome to Ang Mo Kioooo, Uniqlo.

The Japanese retail giant opened a new outlet at 51@AMK today — its first neighbourhood outlet — and attracted 300 shoppers who queued up from as early as 7.30am to get into the store.

Well, free breakfast, for starters.

For the entire opening weekend (Mar 25 to 27), the first 200 customers to visit the store each day will get a complimentary Toast Box breakfast set. Another 500 shoppers will receive free hot kopi or teh, no purchase required. FYI: The store opens at 10am on weekends, so set your alarms. And if the snaking queues on opening day are anything to go by, you probably need to get there pretty early.

If you’re literally hungry for more, you can also get free scoops of Apiary ice cream in the store between 4pm to 9pm from Mar 28 to Apr 10, with a minimum spend of $60. It’s a limited edition flavour that was created specially for the brand, which may or may not soothe your throat so you can join in the singsong “Welcome to Uniqlo” chorus in store.

The store is also retrofitted with wheelchair-friendly fitting rooms for customers with special needs who may need them. Customers who require assistance while shopping can also book a one-hour shopping slot via their website,
