Quiz time! Chinese New Year is just around the corner and you have yet to do your grocery shopping. You are feeling: A) Super gancheong and need! The! Stuff! Now! Redmart
Delivery fee: $5.99 if you spend less than $60. Free, with a minimum spend of $60.
How fast? Goods arrive the next day. Plus, you get to choose a two-hour slot between 7am to 11pm. No surprises.
Anything else we should know? This is the best site for those who want to select their CNY groceries at lightning quick speed. The site’s dedicated festive section is easy to navigate, and it’s got the largest variety of huat-tastic essentials, from the cheapest decorations of all the sites to CNY hampers.

FairPrice
Delivery fee: $7 for orders less than $59. Free for orders amounting to more than $59.
How fast? Next-day delivery during a specific two-hour time belt of your choice, from 10am to 10pm.
Anything else we should know? This is a fab option if you’re shopping for non-CNY stuff. There’s a large variety of non-perishables here, including furniture. Then again, you may need those $7.90 foldable stools delivered over CNY when you find out Fourth Auntie has suddenly decided to come for reunion dinner with her entire clan from Johor.

Giant
Delivery fee: $7 for orders below $59. Free for orders $59 and above.
How fast? Depends. Orders placed between 12am-3am are meant to be delivered from 5pm onwards, and orders placed between 3am and 3pm qualify for next-day delivery. However, when we checked, the earliest delivery slot we could chope was one that's four days later. Easier to head to a brick-and-mortar outlet and pay for home delivery if your items are too bulky to lug home. The service is free for purchases above $100 at Paya Lebar Square and $200 at selected outlets.
Anything else we should know? This is a bargain-hunter magnet. Several CNY essentials are cheapest here across the board, like $4.50 pineapple tarts.

Cold Storage
Delivery fee: $7 for orders below $40. Free for orders $40 and above.
How fast? Same day delivery (between 3 to 10pm) for orders made before 10am. Anything ordered after 10am will be delivered the next working day (9am to 10pm).
Anything else we should know? There is a limited selection of festive items here. Probably best for indecisive folks who don’t like to shop around, we guess?
