If you love electronic music and unconventional venues, Sunrise on the Bandwagon Riverboat, could just be your Friday night entertainment taken care of. The party takes place on an actual riverboat (yes, on water; no, it doesn't sail anywhere) and is curated by The Council, a Singapore-based boutique music agency that aims to bring the most cutting-edge and established electronic music artists in the world, and connect them with audiences in Singapore.
The party on Friday (Sep 1) will feature a stellar line-up of local and international selectors across two decks on the Riverboat. Aside from international DJs from Spain, Indonesia and India, local stalwarts will be putting on the tunes for the night including Adrian Wee, Julien Brochard, Shane O’Neill, Amber H, Satish K and Cats On Crack.
There will also be a wide selection of food available at the all-night diner located on the first floor, operated by the famed Santa Fe Tex-Mex Grill. You can even pre-order an American breakfast or eggs benedict with your ticket purchases… if you manage to last until sunrise.
Sunrise On The Riverboat is on Sep 1, 8pm, until Sep 2, 8am, at the Stewords Riverboat (31 Marina Coastal Drive, Berth 1, Marina South Pier). Tickets are priced at $35 (Early Bird), $45 (Standard) and $55 (Door). For more info, go to www.bandwagonriverboat.com.
