Mission: Impossible, How To Train Your Dragon & Jurassic World Are Coming To CapitaLand Malls — And This Time, You’re The Main Character
Here’s how you can play an immersive part in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, How to Train Your Dragon and Jurassic World Rebirth.
These couple of months are shaping up to be an exciting time for moviegoers, especially fans of Mission: Impossible, How to Train Your Dragon, and Jurassic World. These mega-franchises return to the big screen with brand-new instalments — and this time, you won’t just be watching the action unfold. You’ll be stepping right into it. Well, almost.
This mid-year school holiday, CapitaLand is rolling out the red carpet for A Cinematic Odyssey (which is as epic as it sounds), bringing these blockbuster worlds to life through immersive, interactive experiences at malls across Singapore. From adrenaline-pumping spy missions to Viking villages and dinosaur encounters, there’s something for every aspiring action hero, dragon rider, or dino wrangler — kids and grown-ups alike — ready to take centre stage.
Shoppers can look forward to hands-on activities, captivating photo zones, and exclusive shopping rewards designed to transform a regular day at the mall into an epic quest. Oh, and if you’re lucky, you might even get to catch the films before anyone else.
More perks for shoppers, plus a chance to catch the latest films before anyone else
But before you read about dodging dinosaurs, pulling off spy stunts, or training dragons — let’s talk perks. Because even if you’re not in it for the action, there’s still plenty to enjoy.
From May 5 to June 27, weekday shoppers at participating CapitaLand malls can earn up to $20 eCapitaVouchers with a minimum spend between $80 and $160 (depending on the mall). All you need are same-day receipts, a CapitaStar membership, and a reason to treat yourself — which, let’s be honest, you already have.
That’s not all. Spend during these time-sensitive promo windows and you might just snag an invite to one of CapitaLand’s exclusive movie preview screenings before the rest of the world gets a seat:
- Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning: Spend period: May 5–9; preview on May 15
- How To Train Your Dragon: Spend period May 13–30; preview on June 10
- Jurassic World Rebirth: Spend period June 2–27; preview on July 2
Jurassic World Rebirth roars into Bishan, Paya Lebar, and Tampines
Dinosaurs may have been wiped out 65 million years ago, but they’re not going extinct from pop culture anytime soon. Thanks to the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises — including the latest Jurassic World Rebirth (in cinemas July 2) — these prehistoric powerhouses continue to stomp their way into the hearts of fans in 2025.
From June 16 to July 6, the Jurassic World Rebirth Colossal Dinosaur Experience will transport you to a world — three worlds, actually — where these large lizards reign supreme. Each location features a different dino-themed zone — air, land, and sea — and yes, there’s a massive creature waiting for you in each.
- Junction 8, L1 Event Space (“Air”, featuring the Quetzalcoatlus)
- Land: SingPost Centre, L2 Atrium (“Land”, featuring the Titanosaurus)
- Sea: Tampines Mall, L4 Open Plaza (“Sea”, featuring the Spinosaurus)
Each location features scavenger hunts and immersive photo ops, with exclusive merchandise to be redeemed. It’s the perfect chance to snap a dino selfie, if you dare… just hope you don’t get ambushed by raptors.
CapitaStar members who complete the quest can unlock exclusive Jurassic World Rebirth rewards — just enter <JURASSIC> from June 16 onwards, in the app to begin your adventure. And yes, you’ll get bragging rights for surviving the dino zone.
Now that you know what to expect, it’s time to prepare for your close-up. Whether you’re pretending to duck lasers like a pro, crafting Viking keepsakes with the kids, or imagine yourself escaping a T-Rex, A Cinematic Odyssey at CapitaLand malls makes the movies come alive — and makes you the star of the show.
How To Train Your Dragon turns up the heat at 5 CapitaLand malls

From May 30 to June 29, the roving Toothless Truck will roll into five CapitaLand malls, bringing with it a hoard of Viking-approved quests. Decode dragon riddles, guide Toothless and the gang through a maze, and get hands-on with bracelet-making and AR tattoos. Then, on weekends, strike your fiercest Berkian warrior pose at the AI photo booth (from June 1 onwards) for something fun to show off on the ‘gram. Here’s where to catch the truck:
- May 30-June 1 — CQ @ Clarke Quay, L1 Fountain Square
- June 2-8 — Funan, Entrance facing North Bridge Road
- June 9-15 — Plaza Singapura, L1 Canopy Plaza

Step into a larger-than-life walkthrough experience complete with themed photo spots and a full-blown obstacle course — complete with a rope maze, fire run, and boulder lift — that’ll impress even Stoick the Vast. Oh, and you’ll also receive a Build-A-Toothless kit when you graduate as a true Viking.
CapitaStar members who complete the activities can score exclusive rewards, including limited-edition merchandise. Just enter <DRAGON> from May 30 onwards, in the CapitaStar app and start collecting. Hiccup would be proud. Don't miss out the action when How to Train Your Dragon opens in cinemas June 11.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning drops into Funan
Ever dreamt of being Ethan Hunt (without actually driving a motorcycle off a cliff, hanging from a plane mid-air, or scaling one of the world’s tallest buildings)? Now’s your chance. From May 12-25, head to Funan L1 Atrium and put your reflexes and agility to the ultimate test at the Mission: Impossible Activity Zone, and also catch the release of Mission Impossible — The Final Reckoning (out in cinemas May 17).
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves four thrilling stations that’ll push your skills to the limit — no IMF clearance required:
- Mission: Light The Fuse: Outrun the fuse before it “detonates”.
- Mission: Reflex Rush: Catch falling sticks before they hit the ground.
- Mission: Countdown: Stop the clock at precisely the right second.
- Mission: High Altitude: Snap a gravity-defying shot as you “hang off a plane” in a trick-eye photo zone.
Complete the stunts to redeem an exclusive Mission: Impossible luggage tag and unlock your inner secret agent. Just remember to enter the code <MISSION> in the CapitaStar app before you begin. Good luck.
Long-time fans can also head to Funan B2 Exhibition Space from May 5 to June 1 for Mission: The Exhibition — a nostalgic showcase of behind-the-scenes secrets, iconic props, and classic moments from nearly 30 years of franchise history. If you’ve followed the series since 1996, consider this your personal walk down memory lane.
