So. Much. Chocolate.

Changi Airport T3 Is Now A Chocolate Paradise With Huge Candy Machines & Installations, Inspired By Mega Hershey’s Store In New York’s Times Square

If you’ve been to Times Square in New York, you’ve probably been to the massive Hershey’s store at Times Square. What if we told you that you now can have a slice of that right in our own backyard?

Yup, there’s now a chocolate paradise at Changi Airport Terminal 3, where a plethora of chocolate-inspired activities, installations and more are happening at Hershey’s Amazing Chocolate Machine from Mar 12 to May 3. It takes inspiration from the sprawling Hershey’s store in the Big Apple, to give you a taste of travelling to New York (sorta). Yes, we know nothing beats seeing the real thing in NYC, but until we can travel for leisure again, this is worth a trip to the airport.

After all, the Singapore version has an Amazing Candy Machine (main photo) at Terminal 3 Basement 2, modelled after the one in the New York store, and features eight varieties of Hershey’s chocolates— popular ones and newly-launched flavours— in 3-metre-tall dispensers, no less.

Of course, there’ll be a choc-a-block of photo opps with larger-than-life Hershey’s chocolate installations at the Hershey’s Chocolate Gallery. There’s the Hershey’s Kitchen, nestled at T3 Departure Hall (look out for the link bridge to Jewel), where you can pretend you’re whipping up ginormous pancakes and dousing them in chocolate sauce.

Venture over to T3’s ST3PS at B1 for more IG-worthy moments, this time with huge Reese’s peanut butter cups. Each installation fits an adult and a kid, so you know what to do if you’re still hunting for activity ideas for the March holidays.
Chocoholics will delight at the customisation options available, redeemable if you spend at least $60 (or $80 at the supermarket) in the public areas of Changi Airport. Customise a Hershey’s Bucket of Happiness ($9.90) with stickers and fill with Hershey’s Reese’s and Hershey’s Kisses chocolates, including three new flavours — Hershey’s Kisses filled with yoghurt, strawberry and hazelnut. Or put your stamp on a Hershey’s Giant Bar ($6.90) with a message or photo at Hershey’s Sweet Personalisation counters.
Need even more chocolate in your life? The Hershey’s Retail Store just next door has the world’s largest Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, which weighs in over 2kg and the world’s largest Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate candy which is almost 0.5kg.

Hershey’s Amazing Chocolate Machine is on at Changi Terminal 3 from Mar 12 to May 3. More info at www.changiairport.com/hershey.
