Enter car-sharing services. These aren’t just your usual car rental services where you have to go to a shop and sign a multitude of forms before you can drive off. Nope, just book online, pick up the car from a car park near you, and go. Yup, you may not even need to physically meet anyone.

What you need to be eligible to these services, though, is a valid driver’s license (duh) and a couple of years of driving experience (for most of them). Some also require you to drop some cash for a refundable security deposit.
