Folks have been flocking to the offshore islands such as St John’s Island and Lazarus Island, whether by ferry or private boat charter, on the hunt for new and exciting things to do. But once you get to the scenic, unspoiled islands, the only way to explore is on foot or on bicycle, if you can be bothered to bring your own bicycle all the way there.

But soon, a bicycle rental pop-up store at St John’s Island will solve that problem. The Gogreen Bicycle Rental pop-up store opens on St John’s Island on Mar 13 and will run for three months until June 6. The pop-up store will operate daily from Mar 13 to 21 over the March school holidays. After that, it’s open only from Fridays to Sundays.

There are limited numbers of bikes and kick-scooters for rent, so you should pre-book on Klook before you go. What’s available: over 35 bicycles and 25 kick-scooters (fab if you can’t cycle but don’t want to walk). Bikes are suitable for folks aged seven and above, but some bicycles for kids aged three to six are also available.

You can also rent beach tents should you wish to hang out at Lazarus Island beach (it’s connected to St John’s Island via a short linkway) and soak in the views of the clear turquoise waters.

Bicycle and kick-scooter rental duration for each is for a day from 11am to 4pm, so plan your day trips wisely. Bicycles and the two-wheel step pedal rentals are $30 each per day, while beach tents can be rented for $25 a day. Prices do not include ferry tickets to St John’s Island.

Gogreen Southern Island Bicycle Rental opens from Mar 13 to Jun 6 at 8 St John's Island. More info at
