Apple Music Just Introduced Something For Fans Of ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s Music. Here’s How The Backstreet Boys Are Involved

If you’ve been searching for a time machine to relive the good old days of the past few decades (or just want to escape 2020), then this is not a story about that. But what Apple Music has just introduced may come pretty close. The tech giant has just unveiled Apple Music Hits on its music platform, which not only has songs from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s to take you down memory lane, but also shows hosted by some of the artists behind those tunes.

In the spotlight are artists and hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s, with genres running the gamut from pop to hip hop. Yup, the likes of Backstreet Boys, Alanis Morissette and Snoop Dogg now helm their own shows on Apple Music. Besides playing you their current fave hits, artists shoot the breeze, and maybe even reveal never-before-heard anecdotes. You’ll get to hear stories of the parties that Backstreet Boys have attended or even their take on TikTok hits.

All this is part of an Apple Music revamp that the tech giant has just unveiled. The other new kid on the block is Apple Music Country, a dedicated outlet for country music fans to explore. Carrie Underwood, This is Us star Chrissy Metz and more take on hosting duties. As part of the refresh, Beats 1 is now known as Apple Music 1, with programmes and interviews featuring Lady Gaga, Elton John, and then some.

Apple Music is available on Apple devices and at https://music.apple.com/. Free three-month trial available for new users; subscription is $9.98 per month thereafter.
