According to Carousell, 35,238 people tried to sell their ex’s stuff on the marketplace in 2017. That's a lot of jilted lovers. This catalogue of failed relationships includes an Ikea tool set titled “Screw You For Not Honouring Your Words” by a guy whose girlfriend ended their relationship and left for studies abroad, and a pair of Feiyue shoes by a woman who was dumped by her ex-boyfriend. Well, love can't fill the stomach, but money sure can.
The curse of giving shoes is real
Carouseller @fatwatermelons got these shoes as a surprise gift for her ex-boyfriend, but he broke up with her, so now she is stuck with a pair of size 43 shoes that she can’t get any use out of, unless she finds another boyfriend who just happens to be a size 43.
