Another Hotel In Singapore Launches WFH Packages; Prices From $16 A Day

What do you do when working from home is increasingly distracting, returning to the office isn’t exactly a viable option, and working out of a hipster cool café is doing more harm than good to your wallet? For $16 a day, you could be working in a hotel by the Singapore River — and it even comes with all the caffeine, free parking and printing services that you’ll need for a productive workday. Well, unless you’re printing out an entire annual report.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel has just launched three co-working packages at wallet-friendly prices, valid from 8am to 6pm. You’ll be working out of buffet restaurant Food Capital, the hotel’s Tempo Bar or at the alfresco area by the river, if you fancy getting some vitamin D. But there’s a catch.

Early bird prices are at 50 per cent off usual prices, but the promotional prices for each package are only applicable to the first 50 sign-ups within each category. Does it pay to quickly ‘chope’ a co-working spot? You be the judge.

The basic ‘Millennium I’ promo is $16 a day for the first 50 people, and is $32++ thereafter. It includes coffee/tea, juices and soft drinks, high-speed internet, full-day parking, 30 pieces of A4 black and white printing, storage services by the concierge, and even mail services. If you need more business support services, there’s a 50 per cent discount and a 20 per cent corporate discount for meeting usage and dining.

The mid-tier ‘Millennium II’ is priced at $35 a day for the first 50 sign-ups, and $70++ a day thereafter. It additionally includes complimentary gym access (by appointment only) and either one bento set lunch or two snacks from the alfresco menu.

There’s also a monthly package for $88 a month for the first 50 sign ups, and $176++ thereafter. It includes coffee/tea, juices, and soft drinks, free parking, one hour free usage of a meeting room, mail and storage services. Lunch isn’t included but you’ll be entitled to 20 per cent discount on dining and additional usage of meeting rooms, as well as 50 per cent off business support charges.
