Dream Academy’s fourth installment of the biggest “live” local standup comedy event takes things to a new level with ‘The Battle’, which pits 12 of Singapore’s top comedians against each other. Irene Ang, Koh Chieng Mun, Selena Tan, Sebastian Tan, Suhaimi Yusof and Kumar will be defending their egos and reputations against Alaric Tay, Judee Tan, Sharul Channa, Fakkah Fuzz, Preetipls and Rishi Budhrani. Comedy Central’s “live” show gathers six of the best stand-up comedians from across the world for a night of great comedy and laughter. Sugar Sammy, Aiko Tanaka, Esther Ku, Dwayne Perkins, Hung Le and Ahmed Ahmed will all feature. Rating: M18.

Popular Kpop boy band Wanna One will make a stop in Singapore as part of their first world tour. Formed through Korean TV show Produce 101, their debut song ‘Energetic’ shot to No.1 on the Gaon Digital Charts. Pre-orders for their latest mini-album, I Promise You, sold more than 700,000 copies. They will also perform their hit song, ‘Boomerang’.

Recognised for his body of works that seamlessly blends sculpture and canvas to produce playful and dreamy three-dimensional paintings, Japanese artist Ohata Shintaro depicts life-like scenarios of the simplest experiences in everyday life.

This photography exhibition by Justin Lim, a photographer from Hong Kong, is the culmination of 10 years of personal work, featuring images of Hong Kong that stir feelings of urban solitude and desolation.
