In an Instant: Polaroid at the Intersection of Art and Technology
Delete your Huji cam app and experience instant polaroids in real life instead. Discover the history of the Polaroid and learn about its influence on society at this exhibition located at the National Museum of Singapore. It features the works of art and photography giants such as Andy Warhol and William Wegman, and snaps from artists who have experimented with various versions of the Polaroid camera. Bringing you back to modern times, the final section of the exhibition connects "instant" and social media through the commentary of Singaporean influencers such as Preetipls and JianHao.
Inspired by the weekend markets in Australia, this event combines over 50 food stalls, a flea market, and even snow. Visitors can look forward to an array of international street snack stalls, such as Oahu Poke, The Original Pisang Keju and Yummy Takoyaki. Get your pre-Christmas shopping for apparel and little ornament gifts on with Immerse Soapery, Minimalist SG, as well as VintageWknd. Families can also expect to enjoy movie screenings, children activities and performances by buskers who will be belting out their best tunes during all three days of the event.
