Throw all your worries about gift wrapping aside this Christmas season - well, after you learn how to wrap those pressies just like diptyque’s experts at the brand's The Art Of Gifting Workshop. Or up the boho quotient at your festive shindigs with flower crowns - pick up the ropes (or flowers?) from a florist at the interactive Holiday Crown-Making Workshop, also happening this weekend at diptyque's first-ever pop-up here, where you can also view their Christmas Collection inspired by The Legend Of The North.
Get hands-on with your loved ones at Crate and Barrel’s Christmas Workshop Wonderland. With a range of activities - from cooking workshops with the International Cooking Club Singapore and an embroidery workshop with Naked.Works - there’s definitely something for the whole fam. Craft your own perfume from Oo La Labs and create a mini Christmas tree with Florets & Teddies that you can take home just in time for this festive season. If you’re looking for unique gifts, there’s also a local section where you can get The Singaporean Dream, a deck of game cards where players can sabo, complain and pay their way to be the perfect Singaporean. To add the icing on the (log)cake, customise your gifts with hand-lettering prints by the folks at The Longhand Craft. Once you’re done with all that shopping, strike a pose at their Christmas Box Display adorned with Christmas furnishings, and catch the special appearances by the Crate and Barrel polar bear at selected timings.

Gather the little tykes and haul them over to Playeum this Sunday and the next (Dec 16 and 23), when admission is any amount you wish, rather than the usual $22 fee (for kids aged 1-12, including one accompanying adult). Let the entire motley crew explore Playeum’s fifth hands-on interactive exhibition, GOING PLAY-CES: A Wanderful Exploration of New Lands, where kids get to explore various landscapes such as the sea, jungle and city. Go on a journey through the Land of Light, which stirs children’s visual senses and invites them to imagine and play with colours in varied forms through interaction with light structures, as well as Evolving Ocean, which educates them on the plastic we are throwing into the ocean and its effects on marine life and the environment.
