5 Things To Do This Weekend For Instagram Fiends, Foodies, History Buffs … And Pets

Beery, furry fun times ahead.

So many things to do, so little time.

#1: Topshop Topman Open House
To present their latest season looks, Topshop and Topman are holding a pop-up exhibition that’s brimming with style, art and photogenic spots. Four installations, four themes, four immersive and interactive experiences and four gazillion Instagrammable opps.
Sep 21 and 22 at 12pm to 10pm, Sep 23 and 24 at 11am to 10pm, at 99 Beach Road. For more info, go to https://www.wtplus.com.sg/stories/openhouse/.

#2: Camp Canine
Have a furry fun Sunday afternoon at Camp Kilo Charcoal Club’s first paw-ty. Part of the paw-gramme: doggie races, photobooths, market stalls and even a pet adoption drive. But we’re most stoked about the competitions for the best dressed dogs, including the special award for best twinning hooman-pooch combination.
Sep 24, 12pm to 6pm, at Camp Kilo Charcoal Club (66 Kampong Bugis, #01-01). For more info, go to https://www.facebook.com/events/151461728771510.

#3: Witness to War: Remembering 1942
The National Museum’s blockbuster exhibition takes you on a trip back in time, through the fall of Singapore during World War II. But it ain’t just any normal history lesson, okay? Besides 130 artefacts from across 10 international museums and institutions on display, including Lim Bo Seng’s personal diary, poignant personal stories from survivors will also be told.
Sep 23 to Mar 25 2018, National Museum of Singapore (93 Stamford Rd). For more info, go to www.nationalmuseum.sg.

#4: The Great Food Festival
Ditch the diet this weekend, and stuff your face with nosh by celeb chefs, and feed your feed with Instagram worthy sweet treats. Prices start from a wallet-friendly $10.
Until Sep 24 at Resorts World Sentosa. For more info, go to https://www.tgff.com.sg/.

#5: Tiger Street Food Festival
Foodies, leave some stomach space for some beer and hawker faves whipped up by a bevy of second-gen hawkers (some of whom can pass off as artistes). Enjoy live performances by local bands as you wolf down your prawn mee or nasi lemak — with ice cold beer, of course.
Sep 22, 5pm to 10.30pm, Tan Quee Lan Street. For more info, go to tigerbeer.com.sg/streetfood.
