The 97th Academy Awards (Channel 5, mewatch, Mar 3, 8am, live; same day encore, 10pm)

Okay, this is how it will go down: Anora wins Best Picture and Best Director, Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) Best Actor, Demi Moore (The Substance) Best Actress, and Emilia Perez goes home empty-handed. Or something like that. Elsewhere, host Conan O’Brien does his best to keep everyone’s spirits up, while President Trump, between signing executive orders, weighs in on the proceedings on social media. Live from LA’s Dolby Theatre. Red Carpet starts 7.30am (same day encore 6.30pm); Channel 5 will air a shorter international version on Mar 9 at 4.15am (4.15am... really?). Livestreaming also on Disney+.

Daredevil: Born Again (Disney+, Mar 5)

After a three-season run on Netflix, the Man Without Fear is ported over to the MCU (he first appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home and later She-Hulk). In this highly-anticipated revival, lawyer Matt Murdock/vigilante Daredevil (Charlie Cox) finds himself in the crosshairs of returning nemesis, mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Back too are Deborah Ann Woll (as Karen Page), Elden Henson (as Foggy), and Jon Bernthal (as The Punisher/Frank Castle).

Harlan Coben’s Just One Look (Netflix, Mar 5)

The latest addition to Netflix’s Harlan Coben’s collection hails from Poland. Based on Coben’s 2004 novel of the same name, the limited series follows jewelry designer Greta (Maria Debska) whose life falls apart when she discovers a mysterious old photograph of her husband surrounded by unfamiliar faces.

When Karen the Computer decides to destroy the world, its (her?) estranged other half Plankton turns to SpongeBob SquarePants and the Gal Pals (Pearl, Sandy, and Mrs Puff) for help.

When Life Gives You Tangerines (Netflix, Mar 7)

The 16-part K-drama — co-created by My Mister director Kim Won-suk — follows the love story of Ae-sun (Reply 1988’s Park Bo-gum) and Gwan-sik (Hotel Del Luna’s IU) through four seasons on Jeju Island.
