Chingay 2026 (mewatch, Feb 27, live at 8pm)

Catch Singapore’s grandest cultural celebration at the F1 Pit Building Highlights of this year’s edition — themed “Wish” — include a first-ever circular parade route, a transformable multi-tier stage enhanced with night-time SPFX.  Available on mewatch, Channel 5 (7.30pm) and Channel 8 (8.30pm) on Mar 8.

Paradise, Season 2 (Disney+, Feb 23)

The twisty Sterling K Brown-led post-apocalyptic drama returns, with deeper dives into the origins of the cavernous doomsday bunker. Among the new revelations: a survivor played by Shailene Woodley — no stranger to end-of-the-world sagas — whose backstory evokes the emotional punch of  The Last of Us episode ‘Long, Long Time’.

The Bluff (Prime Video, Feb 25)

Remember Black Sails? Yes, no…okay, doesn’t matter. Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays a retired pirate forced to reckon with her violent past when her grudge-holding former captain (Karl Urban) resurfaces to torment her and her family. Expect hard-edged R-rated high-seas action, courtesy of Joe and Anthony Russo.

Scrubs, Season 10 (Disney+, Feb 27)

The noughties med-com from Ted Lasso and Shrinking co-creator Bill Lawrence returns for a nostalgia-baiting 10th season, nearly 20 years after its original run. (Season 9 didn’t really count — it focused on a new class of med students). Zach Braff is back as JD, returning to Sacred Heart hospital where his bud Turk (Donald Faison) is now the chief of surgery. Also scrubbing back in: Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla) and John C McGinley (Dr Cox).

Honey Don’t (HBO Max, Feb 27)

Indie cinema hasn’t quite been the same since Joel and Ethan Coen went their separate ways. Ethan’s second solo outing stars Margaret Qualley —  also the lead in his previous picture, the queer caper Drive-Away Dolls (now on Netflix) — as a small-town PI looking into a string of strange deaths linked to a mysterious church led by a reverend played by Chris Evans.

Agents of Mystery, Season 2 (Netflix, Feb 27)

The puzzle-solving reality contest enlists another six “agents” — Lee Yong-Jin, John Park, Hyeri, Gabee, Kim Do-Hoon, and Karina — to investigate bizarre incidents that defied scientific explanation. This time, the sleuthing goes bigger, spilling beyond studio walls and into the great outdoors.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Season 2 (Apple TV, Feb 27)

Season 2 sends the heroes (Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, and Takehiro Hira) to Skull Island where they encounter a mysterious village... and a new aquatic Titan threatening mankind. With any luck, Monarch can convince Godzilla and Kong to team up on this foe. Kurt Russell returns as present-day Lee Shaw, with his son Wyatt Russell as his younger version in the 1950s timeline.

Man on the Run (Prime Video, Feb 27)

There’s no shortage of documentaries on the Beatles (head over to Disney+), but one about Paul McCartney is a rarer find. From Oscar-feted documentarian Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom) comes an intimate look at McCartney’s second act as he struggled to step out of the Fab Four and jumpstart his solo career with Wings, with a little help from wife Linda.
