A Real Pain (Disney+, Apr 9)
Jesse Eisenberg stars and directs (his debut!) this dramedy about two mismatched cousins (Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin) on tour in Poland to honour their grandmother. And of course, they’re going to squabble along the way and learn things about their family they never knew. Nominated for two Oscars, winning one for Best Supporting Actor for Culkin.

Black Mirror, Season 7 (Netflix, Apr 10)
Netflix’s mind-shagging anthology series returns with six tales from the digital crypt about how technology has messed up humanity and all things holy and sacred. The stacked ensemble include Awkwafina, Emma Corrin, Paul Giamatti, Issa Rae, Rashida Jones and Billy Magnussen. Among the highly anticipated episodes: a follow-up to Season’s 4 Emmy-winning USS Callister, starring Critsin Milioti and Jimmy Simpson.
G20 (Prime Video, Apr 10)
When terrorists (led by The Boys’ Antony Starr) have taken over the G20 summit, US President Danielle Sutton (Viola Davis) steps up to save the day. No need to call for the cavalry, she is the cavalry. Yippee ki yay, f***ers!

Hacks, Season 4 (Max, Apr 11)
More mismatch couple bickering. The latest season of the award-hoarding comedy series sees Jean Smart’s veteran comedian Deborah Vance and Hannah Einbinder’s tortured scribe Ava teaming up on a late-night show. Will the two play nice? What kind of mind games do they have in store for us? Oh yes, there’s one more surprise….shhhh, my lips are sealed.

The new series from Warrior creator Jonathan Tropper stars Jon Hamm as a disgraced hedge fund manager who orchestrates a scheme to steal from his neighbours’ home in the affluent Westmont Village to maintain his family’s lifestyle. But things go sideways when he breaks into the wrong home and uncover secrets that should’ve stayed buried. Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn co-star.
