Trailer Watch: Mariah Carey Assembles Her Famous Friends For Apple TV+'s Magical Christmas Special

Apple TV+ just dropped the trailer for Mariah Carey’s upcoming Christmas special.

Slated to premiere on the streamer on Dec 4, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special centres on a crisis at the North Pole, which can only be helped by Santa’s favourite Christmas helper, Carey herself.

To carry out her mission, Carey enlists the help of a number of special guests, including Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, and Mariah’s nine-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Wait, there’s more. The soundtrack will launch exclusively on Apple Music on the same day as the special and then available on other music platforms from Dec 11.

The first single and music video ‘Oh Santa!’ features Carey performing with Grande and Hudson will be released on Apple Music and other streaming platforms on Dec 4 as well. On Dec 7, she will be interviewed by Zane Lowe on Apple Music and talk about her music and her just-released memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.

Book of life: In September, Mariah Carey published her memoir, 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey', which debuted at No.1 on the New York Times Best Seller list.

On Christmas Day, Careywill appear on Apple Music Hits for a six(!)-hour Holiday Hits special, which will definitely include her 1994 carol ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’. The latter, featured on her Merry Christmas album, climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time on Dec 21, 2019 — 25 years after its release.
