Marvel Studios has dropped another trailer — the third and hopefully last one — for Black Widow, which now opens in July, after a year-long delay by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow — the first entry in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe — sees Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) revisiting her pre-S.H.I.E.L.D. days and her former Russian-accented cohorts (Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Rachel Weisz).

The latest trailer gives us a closer look at the Taskmaster, the main villain who can mimic any fighting style, as well as a glimpse of young Natasha, played by Ever Gabo Anderson, the daughter of Milla Jovovich and Mortal Kombat helmer Paul W S Anderson.

Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland, the first woman to solo direct a Marvel movie. Anna Boden, who co-helmed Captain Marvel with Ryan Fleck, was the first.

The movie will open in Singapore on July 9 in cinemas as well as on Disney+ with Premier Access. Next stop: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, opening Sept 2. Hey, Marvel, when are you going to release the trailer?
