Tony Leung In Singapore On Dec 21 To Promote The Goldfinger

Mark it down on your calendar: Tony Leung will be in town to promote The Goldfinger on Dec 21.

The crime thriller, which opens in cinemas on Dec 30, also stars Andy Lau. It’s the first time the two legends share the screen since the Infernal Affairs trilogy 20 years ago.

A statement released by Shaw Organisation on Friday (Nov 24) says Leung will be promoting the film at Resorts World Sentosa.

Written and directed by Infernal Affairs scribe Felix Wong, The Goldfinger is set in the 1980s and tells the story a morally questionable chairman of a Hong Kong conglomerate (Leung), who’s being investigated by Lau’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) officer.

During the tour, Leung will be joined by director Chong and executive producer Ronald Wong.

On Dec 21, they will walk down the red carpet along Hollywood Boulevard at Universal Studios Singapore from 7pm to 7.40pm. (Yes, this is the part where wefie- and autograph-seeking fans get to interact with them.)

Following that, they'll be off to the gala premiere at Pantages Hollywood Theater at 8pm.
