Stuff To Watch This Week (May 29-June 4, 2023)
This is a sad week for fans of Barry, Succession, Ted Lasso…

Succession, Season 4
What will happen to the Roy siblings? (Will Roman buy the farm?) Who will run Waystar (Lukas Matsson or Cousin Greg?) Given HBO’s shitty record of delivering lacklustre finales — The Sopranos, True Blood, and, er, Games of Thrones — will this corporate drama give fans the satisfying conclusion it deserves? The wait is killing us!

Barry, Season 4
No one saw the eight-year time jump midway, so anything can happen in the finale: What is Barry’s plan to save his family from NoHo Hank? (If he dies, we’re cancelling our HBO Go subscription…kidding! You can do whatever fudge you want to him). And will Gene and Fuches get in his way?

Reality
Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney stars real-life whistleblower Reality Winner, an American intelligence specialist who leaked classified info about Russian interference in the 2016 US elections. playwriter Tina Satter’s debut film follows the tense few hours the FBI spent grilling Winner before her arrest days later; the dialogue is lifted directly from the recorded and unedited audio files from that interrogation.

The Indiana Jones Saga
The professor of archaeology, expert on the occult and obtainer of rare antiquities finally makes his way to Disney+. On top of the four feature films (soon to be five, with Dial of Destiny in cinemas on June 29), the rarely seen The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones TV show, starring Corey Carrier and Sean Patrick Flanery as tween and teen Indy, respectively, will also be available — for the first time in 15 years!

Ted Lasso, Season 3
Is Ted leaving Richmond? If he does, can the FAS hire him to coach the under-22 squad? Psst, Dude, Ted Lasso isn’t a real person. Oh, then make the team binge-watch all three seasons of Ted Lasso. Pretty sure they’ll find an inspiring quote or two by him. “Be a goldfish,” Ted once said. Word.
