Scarlett Johansson plays an engaged politician who rounds up her college pals (Jillian Bell, Zoë Kravitz, Kate McKinnon and Ilana Glazer) for her bachelorette party in Miami. Crap happens when the male stripper they hired dies in a freak accident.

ScarJo’s chick flick has the rotten luck of opening two weeks after Girls Trip; they’re essentially the same — a raunch fest-cum-hug-fest, involving sex, drugs and dance-offs — except Rough Night is whiter, milder and less funny. I’m sorry but there’s nothing in Rough Night that can beat Jada Pinkett Smith urinating in public in Girls Trip. (**½)
