If you’re looking for a virtual year-end party to crash, here’s a suggestion: Let’s Celebrate 2021, Mediacorp’s annual countdown show, featuring a thrilling roster of local and international artistes.

Hosted by Class95's Jean Danker and 987's Joakim Gomez, the one hour-and-45-minute fiesta will kick off at 10.30pm on meWATCH, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube and Channel 5 on Dec 31 (Thur). Here’s what to expect that evening…​​​​​​​

The line-up includes homegrown artistes Gareth Fernandez, Hashy Yusof, JJ Neo, RRILEY, Shabir, ShiGGa Shay, Shye, Tabitha Nauser and Yung Raja.They’ll be performing from various iconic spots in Marina Bay. They'll be joined by international acts — such as Irish pop singer (and avid ship watcher) Ronan Keating, R&B hit-maker Jason Derulo, Aussie singer-songwriterTones and I, TikTok sensation Benee, and crooner Jeremy Zucker — whose performances will be streamed from their home countries.

Catch the debut performance of ‘Better’, Mediacorp’s new festive theme song, featuring singer-songwriter Gareth Fernandez, Vasantham Star 2005 champ and Kollywood music producer Shabir, social media personality Hashy Yusof and JJ Neo, the singer-actress who co-wrote the COVID-19 anthem ‘The Light’.

RRILEY, aka Sandra Riley Tang of The Sam Willows, will perform an electrifying dance number put together by veteran Wawan. Performances by Shye and Tabitha Nauser will feature choreography by Jessica Lim and dancers from her J Platform Dance Studio.

What’s a countdown party without a dazzling light show and awe-inspiring fireworks? When the clock strikes midnight, look out for epic live shots of fireworks from the heartlands and a ‘Shine a Light’ display projected from The Promontory at Marina Bay. During the show, viewers are encouraged to share their Countdown moment on social media with the hashtag #SGTogetherABetter21.
