The remake of Money Heist — originally titled La Casa De Papel, or The House Of Paper — is set on the Korean Peninsula. It will show a genius mastermind, called The Professor, paired up with thieves with diverse abilities and personalities to pull off a heist of a lifetime.

Directed by Kim Hong-Sun (The Guest, Voice), with Ryu Yong-Jae (My Holo Love) as one of the writers, the Korean makeover will feature an eclectic ensemble, including Yoo Ji-Tae (Oldboy) and Kim Yunjin (Lost).

Here’s the breakdown of the players and their roles:

• The Gang Members: Yoo Ji-Tae (“The Professor”), Park Hae-Soo (“Berlin”), Jeon Jong-Seo (“Tokyo”), Lee Won-Jong (“Moscow”), Kim Ji-Hun (“Denver”), Jang Yoon-Ju (“Nairobi”), Park Jung-Woo (“Rio”), Kim Ji-Hun (“Helsinki”), Lee Kyu-Ho (“Oslo”)

• Task Force Team: Kim Yunjin (“Seon Woojin”), Kim Sung-O (“Cha Moohyuk”)

• Hostages: Park Myung-Hoon (“Cho Youngmin”), Lee Joobeen (“Youn Misun”)

Netflix acquired Money Heist after it was first launched in 2017. The series went on to win Best Drama Series at the 2018 International Emmy Awards.

The fourth season, which premiered last April, was seen by 65 million people worldwide in the first four weeks of its release. The fifth and final season is due later this year.
