Iko Uwais is in Thailand and he’s DTF… down to fight. On screen, that is.

Netflix has recently launched the trailer for Fistful of Vengeance, the feature-length follow-up to the 2019 series Wu Assassins, set to drop on Feb 17.

The Raid action star is reprising the role of Kai, the Indonesian-Chinese chef mixed up in a triad dust-up in San Francisco’s Chinatown and an ancient battle between Good and Evil.

This time, Kai and his pals (including Lewis Tan and Lawrence Kao) make their way to Bangkok — look, it’s the King Power Mahanakhorn in the background!) to settle a blood debt. And things will get, well, bloody.

Fans disappointed with how criminally underused Uwais was in Snake Eyes should rejoice: the trailer shows the silat champ inflicting pain to anyone who gets in his way and painting the town red and black and blue.

Meanwhile, Uwais wrapped production on The Expendables 4 last month in Bulgaria. He’s reportedly playing the villain in the latest chapter of the action franchise, which also stars Tony Jaa and Megan Fox alongside series regulars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lungren.

Even though we much prefer to see Uwais in
John Wick 4, we remain hopeful that he might be considered for… John Wick 5. (Uwais and Keanu Reeves have a history: they worked on The Man of Tai Chi.) Fingers crossed. Watch the Fistful of Vengeance trailer here:
