It's time to head back to Westeros!

This month, HBO is launching The Iron Anniversary to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series premiere of Game of Thrones. The show debuted on Apr 17, 2011 and ran for 73 episodes over eight seasons.

For easy access, the entire Emmy-winning fantasy epic is housed under ‘Game Of Thrones: The Iron Anniversary’ on HBO GO. There is also a slew of extras, including cast commentary, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and the feature-length documentary The Last Watch.

Another highlight is the Conan O’Brien-hosted GOT reunion special, which was taped in Northern Ireland in 2018 and was only available as a bonus feature in the Complete Series Blu-ray sets for GOT.

Elsewhere, from Apr 12-26, fans are invited to share their beloved GOT memories (

if you’re Class 95’s Yasminne Cheng, it would be that time she dressed up as The Night Queen and scared the bejesus out of everyone at work) on HBO Asia’s official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. The best entries stand to win a Secretlab OMEGA Game of Thrones Collection chair worth US$389 (S$522) and other exclusive GOT merchandise.

Visit HBO Asia’s official social media pages for more information on the contest.

This can be yours: Send in your favourite 'Game of Throne' moments and you might win a 'GOT' -themed Secretlab gaming chair worth US$389 (S$522). Dragons not included.

Meanwhile, the franchise based on George R R Martin’s books will continue next year (hopefully) with House of the Dragon, the series set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

Starring Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Sonoya Mizuno and Matt Smith, the prequel tells the story of House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil war in Westeros known as the ‘Dance of the Dragons’.

Other spin-offs reportedly in the works include an animated series and another prequel, Tales of Dunk and Egg, following the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall and a young Aegon V Targaryen 90 years before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire.
