First Look: Lady Gaga And Adam Driver In Ridley Scott's House Of Gucci

The true-crime thriller is currently filming in Italy.

Lady Gaga is in the mood for murder. On-screen, that is.

The Oscar-, Grammy-winning performer has shared the first look at her latest movie, Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci.

The photo, posted on Tuesday (Mar 9), shows Gaga (whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) and Adam Driver on a snow-covered location shoot in Italy, captioning the shot “Signore e Signora Gucci,” which translates to “Mr and Mrs Gucci.”

The couple looked very cozy in their ski apparel but there is something macabre lurking behind the coziness.

House of Gucci tells the story behind the assassination of fashion magnate Guccio Gucci’s grandson Maurizio (Driver), with Gaga as Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio’s ex-wife, who was tried and convicted of plotting Maurizio’s murder in 1995 after he dumped her for a young woman.

Patrizia was behind bars for 18 years, where she was given the nickname Black Widow, before being released in 2016.

House of Gucci marks Gaga’s first film role following her Oscar-nominated performance in A Star Is Born. She is also reportedly in the action thriller Bullet Train alongside Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Hiroyuki Sanada.

House of Gucci, which also stars Al Pacino and Jared Leto, is slated to open in cinemas in the US on Nov 24. At time of writing, no local release date is available.
