First Look: Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds Are Dressed To Thrill In Netflix's Action-Comedy Red Notice
The movie will premiere on Nov 12.
Red Notice, Netflix’s highly-anticipated action-coemedy starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, has a release date.
Johnson shared on his social media platforms Thursday (July 8) that the movie — directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Skyscraper, Dodgeball) — will premiere on the streaming service on Nov 12.
“You’re officially on notice,” he wrote on Instagram in a message adorned with siren, fire and globe emojis. “Netflix’s biggest movie ever #REDNOTICE premieres in your living rooms around the globe on NOV 12.”
He also wrote, “Thank you to my insanely talented (and highly unattractive) costars @gal_gadot & @vancityreynolds for our globetrotting heist.
“And most importantly, THANK YOU to the 205 million+ Netflix subscribers who are already making #RedNotice the most highly anticipated movie on the platform in 2021!
“This is my career first streaming film and I wanted to make it big and special for all the fans worldwide.”
The movie, said to have cost Netflix about US$200 million (S$270 mil), revolves around a daring heist that brings together the FBI’s top profiler (Johnson) and two rival criminals (Gadot, Reynolds).
Johnson’s co-stars also chimed in on Instagram. “I can’t wait for you to see this one,” wrote Gadot. “Thank you @rawsonthurber for bringing me onto this project. being able to work with my friends @vancityreynolds and @therock was the icing on the cake.”
“True story. They made my entire tuxedo out of one of @therock’s socks,” Reynolds said. “Last piece of gossip: @gal_gadot is wonderful.”
