Expect more 'The Batman' surprises to be announced over the weekend at the DC FanDome.

The Batman Director Matt Reeves Unveils Teaser Poster And Logo To Promote DC FanDome

Can’t wait for this weekend's DC FanDome virtual con? Neither can The Batman director Matt Reeves: He just dropped the logo and teaser poster for the Robert Pattinson-led Dark Knight movie.

“Excited to share the very first look at our official #The Batman logo, and some very cool additional #DCFanDome artwork by the amazing @jimlee,” Reeves tweeted. DC’s Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee designed the poster, which features the Batsuit as worn by Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in the movie.

Reeves is expected to reveal more salivating intel on The Batman at this weekend’s DC FanDome virtual event. He’s so far shared a video of Pattinson wearing the Batsuit and a sneak peek at the Batmobile. So what else can he tease? I guess whatever he's managed to film before production was suspended in April because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At time of writing, Reeves' half-hour presentation is slated to take place on Aug 22, 5.30pm (Pacific Daylight), which is Aug 23, 8.30am in Singapore.

The Batman — which also stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell — will resume production in the UK at Warner Bros’ Studios Leavesden next month. Because of the delay, the movie’s release is pushed back from June 2021 to Oct 2021.

The DC FanDome was originally announced as a one-day event but is later extended to two: the first is on Aug 23 (Singapore time), and the second Sept 13 (Singapore time). For more details on DC FanDome, click here.
