2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards: Yeo Yann Yann Wins Best Actress For Invisible Stories, Lina Ng Named Best Supporting Actress For Last Madame

Yeo Yann Yann won Best Actress for her powerful performance as a mother of an autistic child in the HBO anthology series Invisible Stories, while Lina Ng took home Best Supporting Actress for Mediacorp’s M18-drama Last Madame at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA).

The Asian Academy Creative Awards, which is a part of the Singapore Media Festival, was virtually staged over two nights (Dec 3 and 4).

Other AAA winners from Singapore include Danny Yeo for Best News or Current Affairs Anchor for A Medical Journey; The Driver for Best Promo or Trailer; Hirzi Zulkiflie for Best Comedy Performance for Comedy Central Stand Up Asia!; Royston Tan’s anti-drug short High for Best Immersive; and CNA's Remarkable Living Sr 2 for Best Lifestyle Program.

Netflix’s K-drama Crash Landing on You, starring Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin, and the Malaysia-Singapore co-production The Garden of Evening Mists, were crowned Best Drama Series and Best Feature Film, respectively.
