The first wave of HBO Max originals are premiering on HBO Go and WarnerMedia channels.

15 New HBO Max Original Productions Coming To HBO Go And WarnerMedia Channels

We have good news and bad news about the new streaming service HBO Max. Bad news: We have no idea when HBO Max, which was launched in the US on May 27, will drop in Singapore.

But the good news is, the first batch of at least 15 HBO Max originals will be available on HBO Go and other WarnerMedia-owned channels HBO, Warner TV, Cartoon Network and Boomerang.

So far two shows have started streaming on HBO Go — the Anna Kendrick-starring rom-com series Love Life and the kid’s talk show Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. Here is the list of HBO Max originals to look out for…

COMEDY & DRAMA SERIES

================

Love Life

Rom-com — hailed by some as the Sex and the City of 2020 — starring Anna Kendrick as a New Yorker’s search for love. You know the drill: she has to kiss a few frogs before getting to Prince Charming.

Raised by Wolves

Ridley Scott-produced sci-fier about two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. Scott and his son, Luke, are directing a few episodes.

The Flight Attendant

The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco plays a flight attendant who wakes up in a Dubai hotel room to find her one-night-stand dead beside her. Could she have killed him? She knows she’s good but not that good, if you know what I mean.

Doom Patrol: Season 2

More comic-book mayhem from the band of super-powered freaks, part support group, part superhero team, who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

Made for Love

Ray Romano and How I Met Your Mother’s Cristin Milioti star in this dark, absurd and cynically poignant story of divorce and revenge. Based on the tragicomic novel of the same name.

Generation

Dark yet playful half-hour series — executive produced by Lena Dunham and Ben Barnz — about a group of high school students in a conservative community.

The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo

An all-new series featuring the marquee characters in their classic pairings in simple, gag-driven and visually vibrant stories.

The Fungies!

Animated series about the mycological city of Fungietown as seen through the eyes of Seth, a young mushroom student at Fungietown Elementary.

Adventure Time: Distant Lands

Four new specials featuring the Adventure Time heroes and BFFs Finn and Jake as they traversed the mystical Land of Ooo.

Sesame Street

HBO Max has first-look access to new episodes (five new 35-episode seasons) of the iconic children’s show.

Sesame Street: The Monster at the End of the Book

Animated special starring Grover, based on the acclaimed children’s picture book of the same name.

MOVIES

UNpregnant

Drama — produced by Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon) — about a 17-year-old teen (Split’s Haley Lu Richardson) who discovers she is preggers before enrolling into an Ivy League college.

Let Them All Talk

The super-prolific Steven Soderbergh is behind this comedy about a famous author going on a cruise with her nephew and a group of friends. Starring Meryl Streep, Candice Bergen, Diane Wiest and Gemma Chan.
