Train to Busan: Peninsula, the sorta-kinda follow-up to 2016’s Korean zombie thriller Train to Busan — and Singapore’s highest-grossing Korean movie — has released its official trailer.
The new trailer — about 20 seconds longer than the teaser unveiled in April — reveals more of the treacherous post-apocalyptic landscape our heroes (led by Gang Dong-Won) have to navigate to recover a priceless cargo.
Directed by Yeon Sang-Ho, the spin-off — which is said to cost US$16 million (S$22 mil), twice the budget of the original — is expected to open in Korea in August. Hopefully, cinemas here will be re-opened by then. Fingers crossed.
