Spider-Man Star Jacob Batalon Shows Off Weight Loss In Instagram Post
Expect to Peter Parker's BFF Ned Leeds to look different in the next 'Spider-Man 3'.
Batalon — best known for playing Ned Leeds, Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland)’s best buddy, in the Spider-Man movies — celebrated his 24th birthday on Oct 9 by sharing on Instagram a photo to reveal his new slim figure.
“Don’t try to get at me…imam be vibin all day,” the Hawaiian-born actor wrote in his Instagram post. “By the way, while I appreciate the concern, people can stop telling me to lose weight now.”
Batalon’s new physique has fans speculating that he’s getting ready for the new Spider-Man movie, which is reportedly starting production later this week in New York City.
Jon Watts, who directed the first two MCU Spider-Man movies, is again at the helm with Holland back as the web-slinger. Besides Batalon, Zendaya and Marisa Tomei are onboard as well.
The production will also star Jamie Foxx as Electro (the villain from the Andrew Garfield-led The Amazing Spider-Man 2); JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson (from the Tobey Maguire-era Spidey canon); and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Spider-Man’s new mentor.
The untitled Spider-Man threequel is slated for release in December 2021.
