Ever since his Hollywood breakthrough as the scheming and stuck-up criminal bookkeeper Lau in The Dark Night 10 years ago, Chin Han has appeared in over 15 movies and TV shows, working with such A-list directors as Christopher Nolan, Roland Emmerich and Steven Soderbergh.

In June, the 48-year-old LA-based Singaporean actor and documentarian Tan Pin Pin were invited to join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. (As members, they can vote on the Oscar movies and receive tons of screeners — free movies! — come awards season.)

To mark the 10th anniversary of his breakout role in The Dark Knight, we revisit some of his Hollywood roles, big and small over the years, ranking them — including his most recent, the Dwayne Johnson actioner Skyscraper, now out on iTunes — from the least to the most memorable. For some reason, he can't seem to get away from playing Lau.

(We left out the 2013 Korean-Thai-backed culinary dramedy Final Recipe, co-starring Michelle Yeoh, and the 2017 indie family drama A Different Sun, because we didn’t watch them — they weren't widely distributed and copies are hard to come by. Maybe we’ll include them when we update the rankings. Promise.)
