Jennifer Lawrence Regrets Not Throwing A Bachelorette Party

Jennifer Lawrence "regrets" not having a big Bachelorette party.

The Hunger Games star who married art dealer Cooke Maroney in October 2019 wishes she would have celebrated her last days as a fiance, rather than a wife, differently but she had a "blast".

Speaking on the Absolutely Not with Heather McMahan podcast, she said: "I had a major sleepover at my apartment, but I will say I regret not planning a big one. My friend was getting married close to me and I went to her Bachelorette and then we ended up typical Leo we called it my Bachelorette. It was the most fun weekend of my entire life. I don't know how she felt, but I had a blast."

And Jennifer recalled a funny story where she tried to play tennis with Cooke, 36, and quipped that it didn't end so well because she has a "temper problem".

She added: "Cooke and I tried to play tennis the other day but I have a temper. I missed the ball and I turned around and chucked the racket as hard as I could after screaming so many profanities in front of so many children."

Hanging out: Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney were spotted in Lower East Side of NYC in a picture taken in Nov 2019.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Oscar winner recently admitted she wanted to marry Cooke as soon as they met, even though she wasn’t really looking to settle down before she began dating him.

She said: "He's the greatest human being I've ever met. He really is, and he gets better … I started with the basics. ‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?' It's just - this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney.

"I wasn't at a place where I was like, 'I'm ready to get married.' I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other, we wanted to commit fully. He's my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever. Fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing. It's the greatest. You find your favourite person on the planet, you're like: You can't leave.”

The American Hustle actress wasn't feeling nervous about her big day.

Speaking before the nuptials, Jennifer said in June 2019: "I've been in a good place. I haven't been neurotic about it. I'm like too lazy to be neurotic. I saw a dress I liked and I was like, 'That's the dress.' I saw a venue and I was like, 'Cool, we got the venue.'" BANG
