Gal Gadot Claims Joss Whedon “Threatened” Her Career During Justice League Reshoots

Gal Gadot claims her career was "threatened" by Joss Whedon during the Justice League reshoots in 2017.

Speaking to Israeli news outlet N12, the Wonder Woman star said, "He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable and I just took care of it instead."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two reportedly feuded over the new dialogue Whedon had written. During the exchange, he also allegedly disssed Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins. An insider claimed, "He told her he's the writer and she's going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie."

Gadot had previously hinted at having issues with Whedon, telling the Los Angeles Times that her experience with him "wasn't the best." Gadot's comments came in the context of her voicing support for Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg in Justice League.

Last year, Fisher accused Whedon of on-set conduct that was "gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable."

His comments led WarnerMedia to conduct an investigation into Whedon's alleged misbehaviour. The investigations concluded in December, with WarnerMedia revealing little details except that “remedial action has been taken,”

In February, Whedon was hit with multiple allegations of running a toxic and hostile workplace by various cast members from his '90s TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

Whedon has not yet responded to these allegations.
