In the 11 years since Marvel Studios launched its Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), starting 2008’s Iron Man, the inter-linked cosmos, currently consisting of 21 movies, have made more than US$18.5 billion (S$25 bil) at the global box-office. 

The latest instalment, Avengers: Endgame, is projected to take home US$800-US$900 mil globally — from just its opening weekend. In Singapore, the movie is off to a good start: it sold $3.3 mil from the first five days (Apr 10-14) of advance sales.
