After years in the making, months of preparation, weeks of anticipation and days of nail-biting suspense, Jewel Changi Airport is finally open. The queue barricades to welcome the first members of the public have been put up, the QR code scanners are in place, and most of the shops and eateries are ready and open for business. We were here at 8.30am this morning to get a sneak preview, a few hours ahead of the public who have preview tickets, and it's beautiful. The Rain Vortex, the Forest Valley, the duplex stores, the Canopy Park, the newness and shininess of it all — it's a sight to behold.
