Zhang Jing Chu hopes Chow Yun Fat, Aaron Kwok share Best Actor win
Their film 'Project Gutenberg' is nominated in 17 categories at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards
Chinese actress Zhang Jing Chu gave an interview at a radio station in Hong Kong on March 7, where she gushed about her latest film Project Gutenberg's 17 nominations at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards.
However, she admitted that she doesn't have much faith in her own chances of being crowned Best Actress, despite playing three roles. Instead, she believes her co-stars Chow Yun Fat and Aaron Kwok are more deserving of the Best Actor title, and hopes that they will both take home the honour, just like how Ma Si Chun and Zhou Dong Yu were both named Best Actress at the 2016 Golden Horse Awards.
When asked if she knew about Yun Fat's filming injury, which left him with a gash on his forehead that needed five stitches, Jing Chu said that she had just found out about the news not long ago, and planned to give Yun Fat a call to ask how he is doing. She also shared that as she knew he would be too busy to meet up during her time in Hong Kong, she did not invite him out for a meal.
