Will Tony Sun invite his rumoured girlfriend to 5566’s Kaohsiung Arena concert?

5566 members Tony Sun, Zax Wang, and Jason Hsu held a press conference in Taipei yesterday (Oct 28) to promote their upcoming concert at the Kaohsiung Arena on March 7, 2020. It will be their first time performing at the venue since they debuted 17 years ago. The group also announced plans to release new music at the end of the year.

The trio confirmed that former member Rio Peng, who left the group in 2003 after sustaining a serious back injury, will be making a special guest appearance at the show, along with other mystery stars. “I believe everyone will be in for a huge surprise,” teased Tony.

During their Taipei concert at the beginning of the year, Zax delighted fans when he attempted to dance to a sped-up version of K-pop boy band BTS’s song (his daughter’s favourite group). When asked if the audience can expect that again at the Kaohsiung show, he laughed and said, “BTS have to enlist soon. I’ll ask my daughter who else she likes at the moment!”

Also a topic of interest at the press conference was the rumoured relationship between Tony and Taiwanese singer Ariel Sha. However, he refrained from discussing his personal matter and thanked everyone for their concern. As for whether he will invite Ariel to the concert, he said, “I will invite all my good friends.”
