Will Charlene Choi be tying the knot in the Maldives?

In March this year, Hong Kong media outlets reported that Charlene Choi and her boyfriend, businessman Anthony Shek, will be tying the knot at the end of the year. The couple has been dating for two years.

Since then, it has been claimed that they have since met each other’s parents, and that Charlene is currently expecting their first child. What’s more, the 37-year-old singer-actress has not attended any work events for the past two months, breathing new life into the rumours that she is pregnant.

An insider has also revealed that Charlene has moved into Anthony’s house on Beacon Hill Road in Kowloon, Hong Kong, as they prepare to take their relationship to the next level.

Last Friday (Dec 13), Charlene and Anthony were spotted at the airport, where they had reportedly just returned from a trip to the Maldives.

The pair had initially set out for Phuket, Thailand, but during their flight back to Hong Kong, they chose to transfer in Male instead and continued on to the Maldives. Once they reached their destination, Charlene and Anthony were said to be kept busy viewing possible wedding venues for their upcoming nuptials.

To avoid getting spotted upon their return, the couple was said to have flown back separately, with Anthony landing in the morning, and Charlene at night. However, the media were camped out at the airport, and managed to spot both Anthony and Charlene even though they returned at different times.

When reached for a comment, all Charlene would say was “no comment”, neither denying nor confirming the reports.
