Do rich people all know each other? Or is there some secret summer camp that the world’s wealthiest elite converge annually to discuss, we don’t know, mankind? Wait, there really is such a thing. For the past five years, Taiwanese singer Leehom has been a guest at the Sun Valley Conference, which has been nicknamed the ‘Summer Camp for Billionaires’. Every year, the titans of tech, media, and finance, like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Fox chairman Rupert Murdoch and Disney CEO Bob Iger gather in resort town Sun Valley, Idaho to hobnob.

Leehom told Apple Daily that at this year’s six-day, five-night invite-only conference, he had dined with Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, where they discussed the latest advancements in tech as well as the latest info on artificial intelligence. In case you don’t know, AI is one of Leehom’s pet interests and his latest album A.I. Love explores the impact artificial intelligence will have on our lives. Leehom also revealed that he also caught up with billionaire investor Warren Buffet, whom he also sought investment advice from.

How Leehom got to be part of this elite group we’re not sure but we think it may have something to do with how the singer, who is reportedly worth NT$3bil (S$134mil), is one of Asia’s most influential people. FYI: The 42-year-old has 59mil followers on Weibo and 3.7mil followers on Facebook. He is also very pally with Mark Zuckerberg, who we all know is very into Chinese culture, and had once invited the social media magnate as a guest to his concert at the Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing.

Leehom also credits the Facebook founder for opening his mind to paternity leave. “Two months paternity leave is actually an idea I got from my friend Mark Zuckerberg,” wrote Leehom on FB in 2016 when he declared that he’s going on a break after his wife gave birth to their second kid. “If someone that busy can do it, why can't I? Studies show it's good for building strong family interaction, decreasing postpartum depression and...having been through it once before guys, my two cents is, it's just an awesome time to bond.”

Leehom was also accompanied on this trip by his wife Li Jinglei, who is currently pregnant with their third kid. It’s been said that the couple will continue to stay on in the States where Jinglei, who is due in August, will most likely give birth.
