Just last year, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung gave birth to a baby boy secretly, amidst a growing media storm. Despite the increasing media attention on her, Cecilia declined to reveal the identity of her baby daddy, and has continued on with life as per normal after welcoming little Marcus into her family.
Now, it seems like Hong Kong actress Jennifer Tse is following in the footsteps of her former sister-in-law (Cecilia was previously married to Jennifer’s brother, Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse).
Yesterday (June 3), Jennifer posted a picture of a baby’s hand holding on to an adult’s finger, with the caption, “You are my brightest light.”She also added three hashtags, “#loveofmylife #babygirl #happy100days”. The post was met with an influx of comments from fellow celebrities congratulating Jennifer on the birth of her baby girl.
The 36-year-old’s last public appearance was last May, where she revealed that she was single. When reached for a comment, Jennifer’s manager replied, “Jennifer is overjoyed to celebrate her baby's 100th day and thanks everyone for their concern. Jennifer will share more details after she returns to Hong Kong”.
Her manager declined to comment when asked about the identity of the baby’s father. As for Jennifer’s father, veteran Hong Kong actor Patrick Tse, he would only say that he was happy to become a grandfather again.
Jennifer previously dated Taiwanese-American actor Andy On for four years. After the pair broke up in 2013, Jennifer began dating producer Sean Lee-Davis. They went their separate ways a year later.
In 2016, it was rumoured that Jennifer was in a relationship with American actor Jeremy Renner after they graced the premiere of his film Wind River together. Jeremy is best known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. In 2017, she revealed that they were “getting to know each other more”. However, Jeremy later denied that they were in a relationship.
